Hard to believe that we're almost halfway done with summer. I thought it was going to be more stressful than it's been, but the boys' have been pretty darn good. It's been so nice to get up and stay in my pj's and enjoy my cup (okay---4 cups) of coffee. 5 of my friends came over on Friday with their kids and it was so much fun! There were 15 kids here (including my 4) and they had such a blast. To me, summer is all about family and friends and just hanging out. Our hot climate is much more bearable with a pool. I don't know how we ever survived without it! Anyway, I just finished my medical terminology course. I ended up with a 104 average!! I was so happy :) I start my next course on Tuesday.
Last Sunday, AJ screamed all through nursery while we were in church. I was upset that they didn't page me to come and get him. His little face was so red from crying -- it broke my heart to see him so distressed. So, today when we pulled up to church, he freaked out and said "don't leave me"! So, I took him to church with me. I figured he wouldn't last too long, but he sat through the entire service. When I prayed, I peeked and he had his hands clasped and his eyes squinted really tight. It was adorable! Everytime it got quiet, he said "are we finished?" really loud. As much as these boys can drive me crazy sometimes, I just look at them and realize just how blessed I am to be their mom. They are so amazing.
